Christa Miller, television actress and co-star of the NBC hit comedy “Scrubs,” added her voice of support in 2007. As a spokesman for the national “Wear It!” campaign – Miller said she can’t imagine boating without a life jacket. “When you consider that ten seconds (to put on a life jacket) could save your life in the event of a boating accident,” she said, “there is no question that my children, husband and friends are going to wear one – every time we go out on our boat.” CLICK HERE to see and hear her presentation.
Check out how easy it is to be safe in the water while boating. Virgil Chambers, National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) Executive Director, shows a media crowd at 2007's kickoff event in Stockton, Ca. Mr. Chambers broke stride with his presentation with an impromptu demonstration of how easy it is to be a safe boater. Belt packs are comfortable and perform when needed. We are also working closely with our partner organizations to create a larger grassroots network and create a more consistent campaign message. Let's give 'em a "hand" and a look at their travels during 2007. CLICK HERE.
