I saw one child not wearing a life jacket. I tried to get the attention of the adults on the boat, but they were unresponsive. However, when I saw them come back to dock, the same child was wearing a life jacket. Yeah!

9. Please document your observations for the first two hours:
Today we were located at Buckley Cove. Everyone was so determined to get away from the dock and out to the main channel, they did not pay us much attention. We only gave away a few items, but not much. The boaters we did talk to took a t-shirt and said thanks.

10. Please document your observations for the balance of the day's operations:
The day was very slow as far as interacting with boaters. The location is not the greatest and I am hoping to get some on shore interaction soon. I believe boaters will be in a more social mood if they are at their destination for the day.
