9. Please document your observations for the first two hours:
We arrived at Tower Park Marina at 11:10am. The Zone radio station was there waiting for us. They helped us get boaters involved to wear their life jackets and sign pledge cards. In return they received a new life jacket. We took Keith, Jessica, and Morissa, from the Zone, on a ride around the Delta. They packed up and left around 12:30, but the Wear It Crew stuck around to get boaters to sign more pledge cards and hand out life jackets.

10. Please document your observations for the balance of the day's operations:

There was a constant flow of boaters coming over to our table to find out what the campaign was all about. They were also given instruction on how to use their new life jackets. A total of 71 pledge cards were filled out and signed. Not bad. The best part was the fact that we seen boaters wearing their new life jackets on their boats.

Everyone was so friendly it couldn't have worked out better. The was beautiful, the music was great. In the background there was a live band playing classic rock. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

The fact that we were on shore made a huge difference with the interaction with the boaters. I believe it is a routine we should incorporate into our program in order to promote wearing life jackets. Numerous people walked up and talked to us willingly and had the time to do so. It was fun talking to boaters of all sorts and sharing information.
