8. During the day's operation, approximately how many non-powered boats (canoes, kayaks, and rafts) did you interact with? None

9. Please document your observations for the first two hours:
It took us just over an hour to get to Discovery Bay. No one seemed very interested in talking to us, but we did wave and ask boaters to come over and talk to us. Everyone was more in a hurry to get to where they were going. However, the boaters were friendly and by the reaction on their faces, they looked like they have heard of us.

All boaters under the age of 12 were wearing their life jackets. As for the adults they were not. The adults who where wearing their life jackets were the ones in the fishing boats.

The day pretty much stayed the same. We all smiled and waved. We did continue to try and get boaters over to us, but it just didn't happen.
